Abstract Solid state ionics is a field that elucidates and applies the phenomena of ion transport in solids, contrast to electronics which electron transport. In recent years, unique functional solid devices have been developed for information communication equipment, using not only electrolyte but also mixed conductors ions electrons fused gaining importance. Herein we provide an overview various date, with emphasis on recently introduced made electrolytes conductors.
